Working for Women's Rights

Henni was a pioneer in the fight for women's rights. In 1899, she helped start an important group called the Danske Kvinders Nationalråd (Danish Women's National Council). This group worked to improve the lives of women in Denmark. Henni was a leader in this organization, serving as its chairperson from 1913 to 1931. She helped guide their efforts to gain more rights and opportunities for women.

Promoting Peace Worldwide

Henni Forchhammer was also a dedicated peace activist. She believed that countries should work together to avoid wars.

Founding Peace Organizations

In 1915, during World War I, Henni helped create the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom.
