Henry Mack McLaughlin was a talented baseball player. He was a pitcher in the Negro Leagues during the 1910s. He was born on August 24, 1886, in Brookhaven, Mississippi. He passed away on March 18, 1922, in Los Angeles, California, when he was 35 years old.

Henry McLaughlin's Baseball Journey

Henry McLaughlin started his professional baseball career in 1912. He joined the French Lick Plutos team. This was his first time playing in the Negro Leagues. The Negro Leagues were important baseball leagues for African American players. They played during a time when major league baseball was segregated.

Playing for Different Teams

After playing for the French Lick Plutos, Henry McLaughlin moved to other teams. In 1915, he played for the West Baden Sprudels. He was a strong pitcher and helped his teams compete.

Later in his career, from 1917 to 1919, he played for the Lincoln Giants. This team was one of the most famous and successful teams in the Negro Leagues. McLaughlin finished his baseball career with the Lincoln Giants.
