Hero Squad is an exciting children's television show. It airs on the CBBC Channel. The show follows six young people from across the United Kingdom. They get special training from different emergency services.
After their training, the children take part in a pretend rescue mission. Throughout the series, they learn important skills. These skills are needed to work in the emergency services. The show is presented by Rav Wilding. It has aired for three seasons.
How the Show Works
Hero Squad features six children, usually aged 12 to 14. They get to experience training with various emergency services. These services include police, fire, and ambulance teams. The show's host, Rav Wilding, guides the children.
Each episode also has a guest mentor. This mentor is an expert from the emergency services. They help train the children. At the end of the training, a "Squad Leader" is chosen. The mentor and Rav Wilding pick this leader.
The "Squad Leader" then leads the other five children. They work together in a staged rescue operation. They use the emergency service's advanced equipment. After the rescue, the mentor shares their thoughts. They talk about how well the children did.
