Higgledy House was a fun British television show made for young children. It first appeared on the CBeebies channel. The show was originally part of another series called Tikkabilla.

The main stars of Higgledy House were Justin Fletcher and Sarah-Jane Honeywell. They played two friends who shared a house. Their funny and sometimes silly adventures were the main focus of each episode. The BBC, which made the show, said it was full of "comedy, learning, and fun" for its young audience.

About the Show

Higgledy House was filmed inside a real house in Fortis Green, London. This house was the main setting for almost every episode. The only time they filmed somewhere else was for the "Camcorder" episode. That one was filmed in a different garden in London.

Interestingly, Justin and Sarah-Jane never spoke using words in the show. Instead, they used body movements, grunts, and other sounds to talk to each other. This made the show very visual and easy for young kids to understand.

How Episodes Were Made

Each episode of Higgledy House was narrated by children. These children would explain what was happening. They would also sometimes interact with Justin and Sarah-Jane.

The show started as a short part of the series Tikkabilla. Later, it became its own full series on CBeebies. The first episodes were about five minutes long. Later, two shorter episodes were often put together. These longer episodes would start with a group of children introducing them. This was similar to how the Teletubbies show worked.

Between the two parts of the combined episodes, there was a short segment called a "Higgle Giggle." This was a quick scene where children would act out a simple idea or situation together.
