Highclare School facts for kids
Highclare School is a special kind of school located in the Birmingham area of England. It was started in 1932 and is an independent school, which means it's not run by the government. Highclare School teaches students from when they are very young, around 2 years old, all the way up to 18 years old. It has three different locations, or "campuses," where students learn.
Where is Highclare School?
Highclare School has three main places where students go to learn. Two of these are in a town called Sutton Coldfield. One is on Lichfield Road in the Four Oaks area. The other Sutton Coldfield campus is in Wylde Green, and this is where the youngest children, like those in nursery, go. The third campus is in a nearby area called Erdington. This setup allows the school to have different spaces for different age groups.
What is an Independent School?
An independent school is a school that doesn't get money from the government. Instead, it usually gets its money from student fees. This allows these schools to have more control over their own rules and what they teach. Highclare School is an independent school that offers education from nursery all the way through to secondary school.
