The sixth form is the last part of British secondary school. This name is used in England, Northern Ireland, Wales, and some other countries that used to be part of the British Empire.
The sixth form, also called 'Key Stage 5', is the final two years of secondary education. In the United States, this is like the last two years of high school. Students are usually between 16 and 18 years old. They get ready for important exams called A-levels. These exams help them get into university.
