Hildegard Neuffer-Stavenhagen facts for kids
Hildegard Neuffer-Stavenhagen (born Stavenagen on July 3, 1866, in Greiz – October 17, 1939, in Weimar) was a German writer. She was known for her books for children and her work in education. She lived to be 73 years old.
Hildegard's father was a merchant. She started taking piano lessons when she was young. Her brother, Bernhard Stavenhagen, was a famous composer and pianist. Hildegard married Dagobert Neuffer, an actor and theater director from Hungary. They had four children together. Her son-in-law, Max Strub, was a talented violinist.
