Hiroshi Hayano (早野 宏史, Hayano Hiroshi, born November 14, 1955) is a famous Japanese football player and coach. He was born in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. He played as a forward and later became a successful manager for several top Japanese football clubs.

Playing Football: Hiroshi Hayano's Early Career

Hiroshi Hayano was born on November 14, 1955, in Kanagawa Prefecture. After finishing his studies at Chuo University, he began his professional football journey. He joined a team called Nissan Motors in 1978. He played for them as a forward until 1986.

During his time as a player, his team, Nissan Motors, achieved great success. They were runners-up in the Japan Soccer League in 1983 and 1984. They also reached the finals of the JSL Cup in 1983 and 1985. A big highlight was winning the Emperor's Cup twice, in 1983 and 1985.

Becoming a Coach: Leading Teams to Victory

After he stopped playing, Hiroshi Hayano started a new career as a football coach. He began coaching at Nissan Motors, which later became known as Yokohama F. Marinos. He coached youth teams and also the Nissan FC Ladies team until 1991.

In 1992, he became an assistant coach for the main team. By June 1995, he was promoted to head manager. He took over from the previous manager and led the club to win the championship! He continued to manage the team until 1996.

After his time with Yokohama Marinos, he went on to manage other well-known Japanese clubs. He coached Gamba Osaka from 1999 to 2001. Then, he managed Kashiwa Reysol from 2004 to 2005. Finally, he returned to coach Yokohama F. Marinos again in 2006.
