The Historic Aircraft Restoration Museum is a cool place in Maryland Heights, Missouri, USA. It's found at Creve Coeur Airport. This museum works hard to bring old airplanes back to life and keep them safe for everyone to see.
Most of the planes here are covered in fabric, just like they used to be! Many are biplanes, which means they have two sets of wings. These planes come from a special time in flying history, often called the "Golden Age of Flight," between the big wars. Amazing volunteers at the museum make sure many of these old planes can still fly!

Discovering Historic Airplanes
The museum has a fantastic collection of planes, mostly from 1916 to 1946. These are mostly civilian planes, meaning they weren't used for war. You'll see several Waco biplanes, with the oldest being a WACO 10 from 1928.
The very oldest airplane on display is a Standard J-1 built in 1917. This plane is famous because it was used in movies like The Rocketeer and The Great Waldo Pepper! Some of the planes here are the only ones of their kind that can still fly today.
