Hollyoaks is a popular British television show. It is a soap opera made for teenagers and young adults. The show first started on 23 October 1995, on Channel 4. A new episode is shown every weekday, so there's always something new to watch!
The story of Hollyoaks takes place in a fictional village near Chester. Most of the filming for the show happens in Liverpool, specifically on Abbey Road.

Hollyoaks was created by Phil Redmond. He is also known for making other famous British shows like Brookside and Grange Hill. When Hollyoaks first began in 1995, it had only seven main characters. Over the years, the cast has grown a lot, and now there are about 50 regular actors!
