Where You Can Watch H&C TV
H&C TV is available in many countries. In the United Kingdom, you can watch it on Amazon Prime Video and Roku. It also launched on Virgin Media channel 298 in July 2018.
The channel expanded to the Netherlands in June 2012. A year later, in June 2013, H&C launched in Sweden. In February 2015, horse fans in Australia could watch H&C on Fetch TV. By May 2018, H&C became available in the United States and Canada through Roku. H&C also teamed up with Digital Cornucopia in 2018 to reach viewers in Spain, Portugal, and Latin America.
Why H&C Left Sky TV
In December 2019, H&C announced it would no longer be on Sky channel 184. From January 31, 2020, H&C became available only through its own online services, apps, and other partner platforms. This change meant viewers needed to use different ways to watch their favorite horse shows.
H&C Joins Forces with EQ Sports Net
In January 2020, H&C TV bought EQ Sports Net (EQSN). EQSN was a popular online service for watching horse sports in the US. Now, EQSN subscribers can watch live sports and also access H&C TV's large library of shows. H&C TV covers major events like the Rolex Grand Slam of Showjumping and the London International Horse Show.
What Shows H&C TV Makes
H&C TV creates many interesting programs about horses and riders. In 2012, they made an 8-part series called Getting to Greenwich. This show followed riders hoping to compete in the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics.
They also produced a film about Dean Dibsdall, a farrier, called Dean Dibsdall: Model Farrier. H&C TV also made a 2-part series about famous British Dressage riders, Carl Hester and Charlotte Dujardin. This series was called "Carl and Charlotte: Dressage Superstars." In 2016, H&C started showing Walks Around Britain, and later released its third season in 2017.
