Hydration pack facts for kids
A hydration pack is like a special backpack or waist bag that helps you carry water and drink it easily. It's also called a "drink bag." Inside, there's a soft container called a "bladder," usually made of rubber or flexible plastic. This bladder holds your water.
A hose comes out of the bladder, letting you drink without using your hands. The end of the hose often has a "bite valve." You just bite down on it to open the valve and get a drink. Some packs even have insulation to keep your water cool in summer or from freezing in winter.
