Village History
Härma village has a long history. It was first written about in records way back in 1798. At that time, its name was spelled Herma.
For many years, Härma was connected to a larger estate called Emmaste Manor. A manor was like a big country house with lots of land around it.
Changes Over Time
Villages sometimes change their official boundaries or names. From 1977 to 1997, Härma was actually considered a part of a nearby village called Kaderna. After 1997, Härma became its own separate village again.
