I Can't Believe It's Yogurt! was started in 1977. A couple named Bill and Julie Brice from Dallas, Texas, created it. Later, their company, Brice Foods, owned the yogurt chain.
Name Changes and Lawsuits
In 1984, I Can't Believe It's Yogurt! had a legal disagreement with another yogurt company called TCBY. TCBY's original name was "This Can't Be Yogurt!". Because of the lawsuit, TCBY had to change its name. They became "The Country's Best Yogurt!".
Joining Yogen Früz
In 1996, a company called Yogen Früz bought I Can't Believe It's Yogurt!. Yogen Früz is another well-known frozen yogurt company.
