I Was a Sixth Grade Alien! (also known as My Best Friend is an Alien! in some countries) is a fun TV show from Canada, Australia, and the UK. It's a live-action comedy about an alien named Pleskit. He has purple skin, blue hair, and an antenna on his head! Pleskit comes to Earth and tries to fit in at school, which is tough when you're an alien. He makes one good friend, Tim, who loves space and aliens. Together, they navigate sixth grade and solve all sorts of strange problems. These include weird games and unusual creatures from Pleskit's home planet. The show is based on a popular book series by Bruce Coville. It first aired on July 13, 1999, and ran until January 10, 2001. The show was produced by Winklemania Productions and Alliance Atlantis Communications' children's unit, AAC Kids.

About the Show's Story
The main character, Pleskit, is an alien trying to live a normal life on Earth. This is a big challenge for him! He looks different from everyone else. He also has different customs and ways of doing things. This often leads to funny and sometimes tricky situations.
