Iconicles facts for kids

Iconicles is a fun British TV show. It mixes real people with animated characters. The show first aired on CBeebies in the United Kingdom. It also came out in Latin America on Discovery Kids in June 2012.

What is Iconicles About?

The show is about a man named Nat (Gavin Stenhouse). He creates a cool screen called the Iconi-Screen. This screen lets him talk to animated animals! These animals live in different places like a farm, the sea, a jungle, or a forest. They are all called "Iconicles".

In each episode, Nat has a problem. An Iconicle helps him solve it. The Iconicle can even jump out of the screen! This lets them come into Nat's real world. They then work together. Every episode also has a game. It asks questions about what happened with the Iconicles. The animated parts of the show use Flash Animation. But when the Iconicles come into the real world, they use CGI Animation. This makes them look very real!

Meet the Iconicles Characters

Here are some of the main Iconicles you'll meet:

• Splish and Splash: (voiced by Sam Lewis and Ellie Jayne Howick) These two are twin polar bears. They are very curious. They always want to have fun! In one episode, "Scotty's Bedtime Routine", they laughed when Scotty lost his baby feather.
• Skitter: (voiced by Tim Dann) Skitter is a friendly squirrel. He really loves to collect acorns.
• Miss Moo: (voiced by Helen Lederer) Miss Moo is a cow. She likes to keep everything very neat. Even though she has strict rules, she is very kind.
• Rumple: (voiced by Toby Williams) Rumple is a rhino. He might seem grumpy at first. But he actually has a very big heart for his friends.
• Scotty: (voiced by Mike Hayley) Scotty is a grown-up puffin. In the episode "Scotty's Bedtime Routine", he told everyone about losing his baby feather. Splish, Splash, and their friends found it quite funny!
