Description: King and Queen of Moomba, Bert Newton and Lucy Durack. Newton is a much loved Australian television personality icon and stage performer. He was quite popular in the 70's and 80's appearing on prime time TV game & variety talk shows and appeared in a few local movies. He is commonly known for his sense of humour. This is the second time he has been crowned King of Moomba, the first in 1978. Durack is an Australian musical theatre performer recognised for the playing the Australian stage play, Wicked.
