Description: A Royal Navy (right) and British Army (left) Church Parade in front of the incomplete chapel-of-ease on Church Street in the City of Hamilton, in Pembroke Parish, in the British colony of Bermuda. The church was erected between 1886 and 1905 on the site of the previous chapel-of-ease, Trinity Church (which had been destroyed by arson in 1884). The chapel-of-ease, with its neighbouring Bishop's Lodge, was built for the use of the Bishop of Newfoundland and Bermuda, whose usual seat was the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist) at St. John's, Newfoundland). In Bermuda, another St. John's Church is the parish church for Pembroke Parish. Completed in 1905, the new chapel-of-ease became the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity when the Bishop of Bermuda was established as separate office from the Bishop of Newfoundland in 1919.
