Imogen Mary Thomas is a Welsh model and television personality. She won the Miss Wales 2003 beauty pageant. She then represented her country at Miss World 2003. In 2006, she appeared on the reality TV show Big Brother on Channel 4.
Early Life and Career Beginnings
Imogen Mary Thomas was born in Llanelli, Wales. She started working as a model when she was 13 years old. At 17, she moved to London to become a professional model. She worked in bars to pay for her living costs. Some modelling agencies did not accept her because of her height.
In 2003, Imogen was crowned Miss Wales. She competed against Rachel Rice, who later won Big Brother 9. Imogen then represented Wales at Miss World 2003 in China. After this, she returned to London to continue her modelling career. She also worked as a hostess at the Sanderson Hotel. Imogen has two daughters with her partner, Adam Horsley. Their first daughter, Ariana Siena Horsley, was born in February 2013. Their second daughter was born in 2015.
Television Appearances
In 2006, Imogen Thomas became a housemate on the seventh series of Big Brother. This is a reality television show. She stayed in the Big Brother house for 86 days. She was voted out by the public.
Other TV Shows
After Big Brother, Imogen appeared on several spin-off shows. These included Big Brother's Little Brother and Big Brother's Big Mouth. She also co-presented a show for T4 with other housemates.
Imogen also appeared on the Welsh TV show Ofn. This was a ghost hunting show on S4C. It was filmed at Chirk Castle. She was on the show with fellow Big Brother contestant Glyn Wise. She also played herself in a small role on the S4C soap opera Pobol y Cwm.
