Carmarthenshire facts for kids
Carmarthenshire ( Welsh: Sir Gaerfyrddin; or informally Sir Gâr) is a unitary authority in southwest Wales, and one of the historic counties of Wales. The largest town in Camarthenshire is Camarthen, a market town with a population of 14,000. The area has many farms, and the land is very rural and has many hills. There are many towns, such as Llanelli and Ammanford.
