Imperial Courts is a large public housing area located in Watts, Los Angeles, California. It is a community where many families live.
This housing area is found at 11541 Croesus Avenue. It is near Imperial Highway and the 105 Freeway. The United States government helped pay for this project. It was finished in May 1944. There are 498 homes here. The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles manages Imperial Courts. Most people living here are of African-American or Mexican background. Imperial Courts is one of the biggest housing areas in the western United States.

The Los Angeles Police Department helps keep the area safe. They have a police station nearby. Because of their work, crime in Imperial Courts has gone down a lot. This is especially true when compared to the 1990s.
