The Indiana Mall first opened its doors in 1979. Over the years, many stores have come and gone, making the mall an exciting place that's always changing!
New Stores and Closures
- In 2006, a clothing store called Old Navy opened at the mall. It stayed for six years before closing down.
- The movie theater at the mall has changed owners a few times. It used to be called Carmike Cinemas, but in 2015, it became Golden Star Theaters.
- In 2017, two big stores, Kmart and Sears, closed their locations at the mall. Kmart had been a part of the mall since 1992.
- Another department store, The Bon-Ton, also closed its doors in 2018.
- But don't worry, new stores have arrived! In 2019, Kohl's opened up in the space where Sears used to be.
- Later, Dunham's Sports was announced to take over the spot where The Bon-Ton used to be. This means more great places for shopping and fun!
