Infante facts for kids
The word Infante is a special title given to children of the King of Spain. It's similar to how "Prince" or "Princess" is used in other royal families. The female version of this title is Infanta.
Historically, this title was also used by Portuguese monarchs for their children before Portugal became a republic. When someone holds the title of Infante or Infanta, they are also usually called "Royal Highness."
For example, the full title might be:
