Irmelin Sandman Lilius has also written books about her own life. Some of these she wrote with her sister, Heddi. She has also written novels where the main character is based on her daughter.
Her Family Life
In 1957, she married Carl-Gustaf Lilius. He was a painter and a sculptor. They were married until he passed away in 1998.
In 2003, Irmelin started writing a biography about her husband. The first book was called Sjutusen år, which means "Seven Thousand Years". The fourth and last book in this series came out in 2017.
