Isaac Viciosa is a famous former runner from Spain. He was born on December 26, 1969, in a place called Cervatos de la Cueza. He was known for running middle and long distances very fast!
Isaac Viciosa was a really impressive runner. He once held the European record for the 3000-meter race, being the first European man to run it in under 7 minutes and 30 seconds!
He won a gold medal at the European Championships in 1998 for the 5000-meter race. Before that, in 1994, he won a silver medal at the European Championships for the 1500-meter race. Isaac also won the Cross Internacional de Venta de Baños race two years in a row, in 1997 and 1998. When he was 35 years old, he won the second Cross de Atapuerca race in his home country, Spain.
