Isabell Lehn Herlovsen (born 23 June 1988) is a former professional football player from Norway. She was known for playing as a striker and sometimes as a midfielder.
Isabell is the daughter of Kai Erik Herlovsen, who was also a famous football player. She was born in Germany when her father played for Borussia Mönchengladbach. Isabell started playing for the Norwegian national team when she was only 16 years old. At the UEFA Women's Euro 2005, she was the youngest player. She also became the youngest goal-scorer in the tournament's history on 9 June 2005.

Club Career Highlights
Isabell Herlovsen started her football journey at Kolbotn IL in Norway. She joined the senior team in 2004. During her five seasons there, she helped Kolbotn win two league titles in 2005 and 2006. They also won the Norwegian women's national cup in 2007. After the UEFA Women's Euro 2005, a big English club, Arsenal, showed interest in her. However, they could not agree on a deal.
Playing for Olympique Lyon
In October 2009, Isabell moved to France to play for Olympique Lyonnais, a top team in the Division 1 Féminine. She played her first game for Lyon in November 2009. She scored her first goals for the club in March 2010, scoring two goals in one match. She even played in the final match of the UEFA Women's Champions League in 2010.
Return to Norway and China
After her time in France, Isabell returned to Norway. She played for LSK Kvinner from 2011 to 2017. During this period, she was a key player, scoring many goals. She helped LSK Kvinner win the Toppserien league title four times (2012, 2014, 2015, 2016) and the Norwegian Cup three times (2014, 2015, 2016). She was also the top scorer in the Toppserien league in 2012 and 2016.
In February 2017, Isabell signed with the Chinese club Jiangsu Suning. She scored a goal in her very first game in China. She also won the Chinese Women's FA Cup with them in 2017.
Final Years in Norway
In 2018, Isabell came back to Norway and joined Vålerenga. In 2019, she was loaned back to her old club, Kolbotn. She ended her contract with Vålerenga in 2020. She made a short return to football in 2021, playing for Fredrikstad FK to help them get promoted to the Second Division.
International Career with Norway
Isabell Herlovsen first played for the Norwegian national team when she was just 16. In her first big tournament, the UEFA Women's Euro 2005, she was the youngest player. She scored two important goals: one against France and another against Sweden in the semi-finals. Norway won that semi-final match, but they lost to Germany in the final.
At the 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup in China, Isabell scored a goal against Ghana. In the quarter-finals, she scored the winning goal against the host country, China, in front of 50,000 fans! Norway won 1-0, which meant China was out of the tournament. Norway later lost to Germany in the semi-finals. In 2008, she was chosen to play for Norway at the 2008 Summer Olympics.
In August 2009, Isabell was part of the Norway team for the UEFA Women's Euro 2009 in Finland. She played in all the matches as a striker and was praised for her energetic play. Norway beat Sweden in the quarter-finals but again lost to Germany in the semi-final, where Isabell scored Norway's only goal. She continued to be a key player for Norway, scoring many goals in various qualification matches and friendly games until her retirement from international football.
