Isaiah Dwayne Hicks (born July 24, 1994) is an American professional basketball player. He plays for the Seoul SK Knights in the Korean Basketball League (KBL). Before turning pro, he played college basketball for the North Carolina Tar Heels.

Isaiah Hicks' Early Basketball Days
Isaiah Hicks showed great talent in high school. During his final year at J. F. Webb High School, he was chosen for the 2013 McDonald's All-American Boys Game. This is a special game for the best high school basketball players in the country. After high school, he decided to play college basketball at the University of North Carolina.
College Success at North Carolina
Hicks had a strong college career. In his junior year, he won the ACC's Sixth Man of the Year Award. This award goes to the best player who usually comes off the bench. He helped his team win the National Championship in 2017. In the championship game against Gonzaga, Hicks scored 13 points and grabbed 9 rebounds.
Isaiah Hicks' Professional Basketball Career
After college, Isaiah Hicks began his professional journey. He was not chosen in the 2017 NBA draft. However, he soon found a place to start his career.
Playing for the New York Knicks
In October 2017, Hicks signed a special contract with the New York Knicks. This was a "two-way contract," meaning he could play for both the Knicks in the NBA and their minor league team, the Westchester Knicks. He made his NBA debut on February 8, 2018. He played for the Knicks and Westchester Knicks until 2019.
International Basketball Adventures
After his time with the Knicks, Isaiah Hicks moved to play basketball in other countries.
- Russia: In August 2019, he joined the Russian team BC Avtodor. He played well there, averaging about 12.8 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.
- South Korea: In July 2020, Hicks signed with the Seoul Samsung Thunders in the Korean Basketball League (KBL). He played for them for two seasons.
- Japan: In July 2022, he moved to Japan to play for the San-en NeoPhoenix in the B.League.
- Return to South Korea: In July 2023, Hicks signed with the Daegu KOGAS Pegasus in the KBL. However, he had an injury and was later replaced. In June 2024, he signed with the Seoul SK Knights, another team in the Korean Basketball League, where he plays today.
