Isklar (pronounced "iss-klar") means "ice clear" in Norwegian. It is a special brand of natural mineral water. This water comes from the amazing Folgefonna Glacier in Norway. You can find Isklar water as both still (not bubbly) and sparkling (bubbly).
Isklar was first sold in the United Kingdom in early 2008. However, it is no longer available there. Big companies helped start Isklar. These included the Siva Group from India, SABCO, and Jova Holdings.
About Isklar Water
Isklar's home is in the beautiful Hardanger region of Norway. The water comes directly from the Folgefonna glacier. This glacier is a huge, ancient ice mass. The company's bottling plant, where the water is put into bottles, is in a place called Ullensvang, in Hordaland.
Award-Winning Design
Isklar water comes in a bottle with a cool, unique pattern. This design was inspired by the glacier where the water comes from. The bottle was created by bluemarlin Brand Design. It has won many awards for its look and innovation.
