Isla Partida is a Mexican island found in the Gulf of California. This island was formed by volcanoes. It is located in the north-central part of the gulf.
There is another island with the same name, Isla Partida, located further south in the same gulf. That other island is near Isla Espíritu Santo. Our Isla Partida belongs to the Mexican state of Baja California. It is part of the municipality of Mexicali. However, it is actually much closer to the coast of the municipality of Ensenada.
