Israeli Educational Television facts for kids
Israeli Educational Television (Hebrew: הטלוויזיה החינוכית הישראלית, HaTelevizya HaḤinukhít HaYisra'elit), often called IETV, was the very first television channel in Israel. It was created in 1965 and started broadcasting its shows in 1966. Its main goal was to provide educational programs for students and the general public.
IETV was added to the national broadcasting channels after it began. Later, starting in 1997, it got its own independent channel called Educational 23, which was found on Channel 23. This channel was dedicated to showing programs that helped people learn and grow.
