Istanbul Beykent University is a private university in Istanbul, Turkey. It teaches around 30,000 students in English, Russian, and Turkish.
The university works with European universities through programs like Socrates and Erasmus. These programs let students study in other countries.
Some important people have taught at Beykent University. For example, Ahmet Davutoğlu, who later became the Prime Minister of Turkey, was a professor there from 1999 to 2004. He led the International Relations Department.
Another important person, Ömer Dinçer, who was the Minister of National Education, also taught at Beykent University. He was a professor from 1999 to 2003.
The Istanbul Beykent University Men's Volleyball Team won the championship in a big tournament in March 2013. This event was organized by the Turkish University Sports Federation.

University History
Beykent University is a private university that was started by the Adem Çelik - Beykent Educational Foundation. It was officially opened on July 9, 1997, under a special law.
The founder, Adem Çelik, believed that education is key to solving problems in Turkey. He wanted to "serve the community" through learning. He created a whole chain of schools, from kindergarten to high school, and then Beykent University.
The university first started teaching in the 1997–1998 school year at its Büyükçekmece Campus. Today, it has four modern campuses in different parts of Istanbul.

University Campuses
Beykent University has several campuses located in different parts of Istanbul. These campuses include:
- Ayazağa - Maslak Campus in Sarıyer
- Beylikdüzü Campus in Büyükçekmece
- Hadımköy Campus in Esenyurt
- Taksim Campus in Taksim, Beyoğlu
Beylikdüzü Campus
The Beylikdüzü Campus is in the Büyükçekmece area of Istanbul. It is a 12-floor building close to a life center, hospitals, and the Tüyap Exhibition area.
This campus has modern classrooms, labs, workshops, an auditorium, and a cultural center. Students can also use the outdoor sports area and swimming pool at Beykent College.
The Vocational School, which offers many different programs, is mainly located here. It opened in the 2005-2006 school year. The Communications Faculty also started teaching in this building in the 2008–2009 academic year.
Ayazağa-Maslak Campus
The Ayazağa-Maslak Campus is in the Sarıyer part of Istanbul. This modern building opened in the 2005-2006 school year and could hold 8,000 students. It is mainly used for Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Science (BSc) programs.
Thanks to new improvements, the Ayazağa-Maslak Campus can now hold up to 12,000 students.
Taksim Campus
The Taksim Campus is in Istanbul's main culture and arts district. This 5000 square meter building opened in 2004. It is the main place for the Social Sciences Institute. Most post-graduate (master's and doctorate) programs are taught here.
The Law Faculty is also located in this building and started teaching in the 2008–2009 academic year. The Taksim Campus also began offering Distance Learning programs in 2008-2009. It is also home to important research centers like the Beykent University Atatürk Research Center.
University Connections
Beykent University is part of the Caucasus University Association. This means it connects with other universities in the Caucasus region.
