Ivar Mauritz Aronsson (born March 24, 1928 – died February 6, 2017) was a talented Swedish rower. He became famous for his achievements in major rowing competitions. Ivar represented his country on the world stage, showing great skill and teamwork.

Olympic Success

Ivar Aronsson competed in the 1956 Summer Olympics held in Melbourne, Australia. This was a very important event for athletes from all over the world. He was part of the Swedish rowing team.

Ivar won a silver medal in the coxed fours event. This means a team of four rowers and one person (the coxswain) who steers the boat. It was a fantastic achievement for him and his team. He also finished fourth in the eights competition, which involves eight rowers and a coxswain.
