Ivona Dadic is an amazing Austrian track and field athlete. She was born on December 29, 1993. Her family comes from Croatia.

Ivona is best known for competing in the Heptathlon. This event combines seven different track and field challenges. She has represented Austria in many big competitions. This includes the 2012 Summer Olympics and the 2020 Summer Olympics. At the 2020 Olympics, she finished in 8th place.

Ivona Dadić was born in Wels, Austria. Her parents, Nine and Danica Dadić, are from Bugojno, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ivona was raised as a Roman Catholic.

She started her athletic journey very early. When she was just nine years old, she won her first competition! This showed everyone her natural talent.

Ivona has a special tattoo on her left hand. It is a cross with her brother Ivan's name. This tattoo helps her remember him.

She started winning big medals as a young adult. In 2015, she earned a bronze medal at the 2015 European Athletics U23 Championships. She scored 6033 points in the Heptathlon. Just one year later, in 2016, she won another bronze medal. This was at the 2016 European Athletics Championships in Amsterdam. She achieved an impressive 6408 points.

Ivona also competed in the 2012 Olympic Games held in London. During these games, she achieved three "personal bests." A personal best means she performed better than she ever had before in those specific events. These events were the long jump, javelin throw, and the 800-meter race. Overall, she finished 25th in the competition.
