Iván Sánchez started his career as a model. Later, in 2002, he began acting in Spain. He worked in movies, television, and theater.

His first main role on TV was in 2005. He played Rodrigo Leal in the series El auténtico Rodrigo Leal. This show was a funny take on reality TV programs. A year later, he got a big role as Dr. Raul Lara in the popular series Hospital Central. He also appeared in movies like Besos de gato in 2003.
