János Dalmati facts for kids
János Dalmati (born February 26, 1942 – died September 29, 2020) was a Hungarian athlete. He was a talented racewalker, which is a sport where athletes walk as fast as they can without running. He competed for his country in the Olympic Games.
János Dalmati's Life and Sport
János Dalmati was born in Budapest, Hungary. He became a well-known racewalker. In 1972, he competed in the 1972 Summer Olympics held in Munich. He took part in the men's 50 kilometres walk event. This is a very long and challenging race that tests an athlete's endurance.
Dalmati passed away in Budapest on September 29, 2020, at the age of 78.
