Júlio César Rocha Costa (born on May 12, 1980), known simply as Júlio César, is a Brazilian football player. He plays as a defensive midfielder. He is currently playing for Ferroviária.

Júlio César's Football Journey
Júlio César started his professional football career in Brazil. In January 2004, he signed a three-year contract with Osasco. Later that year, in December, he moved to Portuguesa Santista on a loan deal. This loan lasted until the end of the 2005 Campeonato Paulista season.
In April 2005, he was transferred to São Caetano. He signed another three-year contract with this club.
Playing for Different Clubs
In 2007, Júlio César joined Juventude. He played 18 games for them. The next year, in January 2008, he moved to another club in Rio Grande do Sul, Caxias, on a one-year contract.
Later in September 2008, he played for Gama for a short time, appearing in 14 matches. In January 2009, he signed with Mogi Mirim until the end of the 2009 Campeonato Paulista season.
Later Career Moves
In April 2009, Júlio César returned to Caxias. He played four more games for them. In August 2009, he joined Noroeste on a one-year deal. He signed a new one-year contract with Noroeste in May 2010. During this time, he also went on loan to Criciúma, where he played one match.
After his contract with Noroeste ended, he joined Marília in 2011, playing six games. In September of the same year, he moved to ICASA for a short period, playing six matches. Since 2012, he has been playing for Ferroviária.
