Ralph Jordon Croucher (born November 14, 1978), known by his stage name JRDN, is a Canadian R&B music artist. He sings and records songs.

Early Life and Sports
Ralph Jordon Croucher was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia. When he was nine months old, his family moved to Toronto, Ontario. He lived there until he was 10 years old. In Toronto, he lived in the same building as King Lou from the group Dream Warriors. King Lou was a pioneer in jazz rap music. He introduced Jordon to hip hop culture early on.
Jordon later went to St. Francis Xavier University. He played on the university's basketball team. After finishing university, he played basketball professionally for one year in France.
Music Career
Jordon started his music journey by competing in Canadian Idol. This show helped him perform with other Canadian artists. It also gave him a chance to be seen on television. He worked with a producer named Trobiz in Halifax. He also recorded mixtapes with groups called N.E.P and Triple Threat. In 2007, Jordon began working with producer Classified. Classified helped him create his first album, No Dress Code, which came out in 2007.
No Dress Code Album (2007)
The No Dress Code album had 13 songs. Some popular songs from it were "Selfish Times", "Feelin’ Fine", "So Addicted", "Won't Let Go", and "It’s Raining". Jordon won the CBC Galaxie Rising Star prize in 2007 for this album. He was also nominated for Best Urban Single at the 2008 East Coast Music Awards. He appeared on a CBC Television special called Barenaked East Coast Music. Jordon toured across Canada with Classified and Maestro. He also opened shows for famous artists like Ne-Yo, Snoop Dogg, Rihanna, Nas, and Juelz Santana.
IAMJRDN and Mainstream Success (2010)
Later, Jordon shortened his stage name to JRDN. He started working with Kuya Productions in Toronto. He also worked with the songwriting team Sammy Blues and Bobby Brass. This team had worked with many big names like Nelly and Akon. JRDN signed with Kuya Productions in 2009.
His official first album, IAMJRDN, was released on November 9, 2010. This album reached number 13 on the Canadian R&B Albums Chart. The first song from the album, "U Can Have It All", became very popular. It reached number 20 on the Canadian Hot 100 music chart. Its music video also reached number 5 on the MuchMusic Countdown.
The second song, "Like Magic", reached number 24 on the Canadian Hot 100. Its music video topped the MuchMusic Countdown. "Like Magic" was certified Gold by Music Canada in 2012. This means it sold a lot of copies.
JRDN also served as a Youth Ambassador for D250. He was a delegate in the Citizen Voices program, helping young people.
