Jacob Collard is an Australian professional footballer. He plays as a right back for Oakleigh Cannons FC. A right back is a defensive player who helps protect the goal and also moves forward to help with attacks.

Jacob Collard is an Indigenous Australian. He grew up in Perth, Australia. He went to South Thornlie Primary School and Lynwood Senior High School.
Jacob is also known for his great work helping young people in his community. He is seen as a mentor, especially for those from Indigenous backgrounds.
Football Career Highlights
Jacob first played a competitive game for Perth Glory as a substitute. This was in a game against Newcastle Jets during the 2015 FFA Cup, which his team won.
He made his first appearance in the A-League (Australia's top football league) for Perth Glory on January 9, 2020. This game was against Adelaide United. In his very next A-League game, just one week later, Jacob was sent off the field in the 63rd minute.
After his time with Perth Glory, Jacob joined a team called Olympia in Tasmania on March 5, 2016. He later left Olympia in April 2016 to move to Melbourne. In May 2016, Jacob joined Oakleigh Cannons, a team in the National Premier Leagues Victoria.
Life Outside Football
Before becoming a professional footballer for Perth Glory, Jacob worked as a plumber.
In 2017, Jacob took part in a special training program. This program was for Indigenous Australians who wanted to become police cadets with the Western Australia Police.
