Rodriquez Jacquees Broadnax (born April 15, 1994), known as Jacquees (pronounced jah-KWEESS), is an American R&B singer and songwriter. He grew up in Decatur, Georgia. Jacquees became well-known after signing with Birdman's Cash Money Records in 2014.
His song "B.E.D." in 2016 helped him gain a lot of fans. This song was very popular, reaching number 69 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It was also certified double platinum, meaning it sold over two million copies! His 2018 song "You" was also a big hit, becoming double platinum too. Both songs were part of his first studio album, 4275, released in 2018. His second album, King of R&B (2019), also did well on the music charts.

Jacquees' Music Journey
Jacquees started his music career early. In 2007, he met his first manager, Corey Battle. He performed in many talent shows to show off his singing skills. Later, he began working with his uncle, Russell "Block" Spencer, who ran Block Entertainment.
Jacquees spent time in recording studios. He learned a lot about making music. He even got to work with famous rapper T.I. on a song called "Krazy."
On March 25, 2014, Jacquees released his second collection of songs, called an EP, titled 19. This EP was quite successful, reaching number 15 on the US Billboard Top R&B Albums chart. It featured other artists like Chris Brown and Rich Homie Quan.
Later that year, in October 2014, Jacquees signed a big record deal with Cash Money Records. In 2016, he teamed up with Birdman for an EP called Lost at Sea. His song "B.E.D." became a huge hit that year. It was the main song from his first studio album, 4275, which was released in 2018. This album was certified Gold, meaning it sold over 500,000 copies.
In November 2019, Jacquees released his second studio album, King of R&B. This album was also very popular, reaching number 20 on the Billboard 200 chart. Music critics said Jacquees sounded "well-rounded" on the album. He went on tour in early 2020 to support the album.
In 2022, he released his third album, Sincerely For You. His fourth album, Baby Making, came out in 2024.
