Jaelen Feeney's Early Life
Jaelen Feeney was born in Sydney, New South Wales. He is of Indigenous Australian heritage. When he was young, his family moved to Queensland. He started playing junior rugby league for the Nerang Roosters club. During his school years, he attended both Keebra Park State High School and Palm Beach Currumbin State High School. Later, the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs rugby league club signed him to their team.

Starting His Career
In 2013, Jaelen Feeney played for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs' team in the NYC. This competition is for younger players. The next year, in 2014, he joined the Newcastle Knights and played for their NYC team.
On May 3, 2014, he had a special chance to play for the Queensland under-20s team. They played against the New South Wales under-20s team. In 2015, he moved up to the Knights' New South Wales Cup team. This is a step closer to the top league.
On September 3, 2015, he signed a new two-year contract with the Knights. Later that month, on September 27, he helped the Knights win the 2015 New South Wales Cup Grand Final. They beat the Wyong Roos in an exciting game.
Playing in the NRL
In 2016, Jaelen Feeney made his big debut in the NRL. This happened in Round 1 of the 2016 NRL season. He played his first game for Newcastle against the Gold Coast Titans. During the 2016 season, he played in six NRL games for the Newcastle Knights.
In 2017, Jaelen played in 20 more NRL games for Newcastle. The team had a tough season and finished with the Wooden Spoon. This award goes to the team that finishes last in the competition. After the 2017 NRL season, Jaelen left the Newcastle Knights club.
Moving to Townsville
Before the 2018 season began, Jaelen Feeney joined a new team. He moved to the Townsville Blackhawks club. This team plays in the Queensland Cup, which is a strong competition in Queensland.
