Jake Foster's Rugby Journey
Starting in the NRL
Jake Foster began his rugby league journey as a junior player for the Guildford Owls. He made his first appearance in the National Rugby League (NRL), Australia's top rugby league competition, in 2010. He played for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. During his time with the Bulldogs, he played ten matches.
Moving to Canberra
After playing for the Bulldogs, Jake joined the Canberra Raiders for the 2013 NRL season. He played five matches for the Raiders during his time there.
Playing for the Indigenous All Stars
In 2013, Jake Foster had a special opportunity. He was chosen to play for the Indigenous All Stars team. This team is made up of talented Indigenous Australian rugby league players. He made his debut for this team in the 2013 All Stars match on February 9, 2013.
Recognized in the NSW Cup
On September 21, 2014, Jake was recognized for his skills. He was named captain and a second-rower in the 2014 NSW Cup Team of the Year.
