Jake Foster began his rugby league journey as a junior player for the Guildford Owls. He worked hard to reach the top level of the sport.
Early Career with the Bulldogs
Foster made his first appearance in the National Rugby League (NRL) in 2010. He played for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. During his time with the Bulldogs, he played ten matches.
Moving to the Canberra Raiders
After playing for the Bulldogs, Jake Foster joined the Canberra Raiders. He played for the Raiders during the 2013 NRL season and in 2014.
Playing for the Indigenous All Stars
In 2013, Jake Foster had a special chance to represent the Indigenous All Stars team. This team is made up of talented Indigenous Australian rugby league players. He made his debut for this team on February 9, 2013, in the 2013 All Stars match.
Leadership and Later Career
On September 21, 2014, Jake Foster was named captain of the 2014 NSW Cup Team of the Year. He was also chosen as the second-rower for this team. This was a big honor, showing his leadership skills.
Later, on November 6, 2014, Foster signed with the Queensland Cup team, the Eastern Suburbs Tigers. He played for the Tigers full-time starting in the 2015 season. Jake Foster played a total of 96 games for the Easts Tigers between 2015 and 2019.
