Jalila Eshe Jefferson-Bullock (born 1975) is an American lawyer and politician. She served as a state representative in the Louisiana House of Representatives from 2004 to 2007. During this time, she represented House District 91.
Jefferson-Bullock won her seat in a general election. She had previously run for the same seat in a special election. She is known for her work in law and her time in public service.
Education and Academic Journey
Jalila Jefferson-Bullock attended Benjamin Franklin High School in New Orleans. After high school, she went to Harvard University. There, she earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English.
She continued her studies at the University of Chicago. She received a master's degree in humanities from this university. Later, she earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Harvard Law School. A Juris Doctor is a law degree that allows someone to practice as a lawyer. She is also a member of the American Bar Association, which is a professional group for lawyers.
