Role-Playing Games and Gamebooks
Brennan designed some interesting role-playing games. One of them was called Man, Myth & Magic, released in 1982. In this game, players create characters and go on adventures. He also created Timeship. This game let players travel through time.
He also wrote many gamebooks. These are like "choose your own adventure" books. You make choices that change the story. His most famous gamebook series was GrailQuest. It had eight books about exciting Arthurian adventures. He also wrote two gamebooks just for French readers. These were Aztec Quest and Egyptian Quest.
Best-Selling Novels for Teens
Herbie Brennan's books became very popular around the world. They have been translated into about 50 different languages! One of his big successes was the Faerie Wars series.
