James Russell Grover Jr. (born March 5, 1919 – died October 14, 2012) was an American lawyer and politician. He represented New York in the government for many years.

Early Life and Education
James Grover Jr. finished his studies at Hofstra University in 1941. In 1943, he married Mary Fullerton. They had four children together.
Military Service
From 1943 to 1945, James served in the United States Army Air Forces. This was during World War II. He was stationed in a place called the China Burma India Theater of World War II.
Becoming a Lawyer
After his military service, James went back to school. He graduated from Columbia Law School in 1949. After becoming a lawyer, he started his own law practice in Babylon.
