Jane Godwin (born in Melbourne, Australia in 1964) is an amazing Australian author. She also works as a publisher at Penguin Books Australia, helping to create books for children and young adults.

In 2024, Jane was honored by the Australian Book Industry Awards. She was added to their Hall of Fame and also won the Pixie O’Harris Award, which celebrates people who have made a big difference in Australian children's books.

Jane lives in Melbourne and loves working with young people. She helps school students and also works with Indigenous children through the Indigenous Literacy Foundation, encouraging them to read and write.
