About Janina Uhse
Janina Uhse grew up in Husum, Germany. Her family worked at funfairs, which are places with rides and games. She started acting when she was very young, showing her talent early on.
Her Early Acting Career
Janina began her acting journey at just nine years old. Her very first role was in a TV series called Die Kinder vom Alstertal. Soon after, she appeared in another popular TV show, Die Pfefferkörner.
In 2002, Janina made her first movie, Der Rattenkönig. From 2002 to 2008, she played the character Melanie Peschke in the TV series Der Landarzt.
Later Roles and Studies
Since 2008, Janina Uhse has been a regular on the long-running TV series Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten. This show is very popular in Germany. In 2012, she decided to learn even more about acting. She went to college in Los Angeles, USA, to study her craft.
