Jason T. Wiltz is a former American football player. He played as a defensive lineman for the New York Jets. He was part of the National Football League (NFL) for two seasons. The Jets picked him in the 1999 NFL draft. He also played college football at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

Jason T. Wiltz was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. This was on November 23, 1976. He went to St. Augustine High School there.
College Football Journey
Jason Wiltz played college football for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. They are part of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. In 1994, he took a "redshirt" year. This means he practiced but did not play in games.
In 1995, he played in only three games. He was a backup defensive tackle. From 1996 to 1998, he was a "letterman." This means he played enough to earn a special award. In 1996, he played in all 12 games. He made 20 tackles, including one sack.

The New York Jets chose Jason Wiltz in the 1999 NFL draft. He was the 123rd player picked overall. As a new player, he made an interception in two games in a row. The Jets released him from the team on September 2, 2001.
Wiltz then signed with the Chicago Bears. This happened on March 22, 2002. However, the Bears released him on September 1, 2002.
