Working with Other Political Groups
Political parties often work together to achieve common goals. The Jatiya Gana Front has joined with other groups several times.
Joining Forces in 2007
In November 2007, the Jatiya Gana Front teamed up with ten other political parties. They formed a group called Gonotantrik Bam Morcha. This group had 15 important requests for the government at that time. One main request was for the temporary government, led by Fakhruddin Ahmed, to end the special rules called a "state of emergency." They also wanted political activities to be allowed again across the country.
Working Together in 2010
Later, in May 2010, the Jatiya Gana Front again worked with many other political groups. Together, they made a list of 11 demands. These demands covered important topics like the economy, fairness (justice), stopping corruption, and preventing misuse of power.
