Javier Rey (born February 25, 1980) is a popular Spanish actor. He is well-known for his roles in the television shows Velvet and the crime drama Fariña.

Life and Career
Javier Rey was born in Noia, a town in the Galicia region of Spain. Before he became an actor, he loved collecting comic books.
His acting journey began in 2001 with a role in the play Ubú rey. In 2005, he appeared on television for the first time in the series Al filo de la ley. He played a character named Darío. Three years later, in 2008, he acted in his first movie, 8 Dates.
For many years, Rey played supporting characters in different shows and movies. His career took a big step forward with his role in the TV series Velvet. He became even more famous after playing the main character, Sito Miñanco, in the 2018 series Fariña. This role made him a leading actor in Spanish television dramas.
