Jean Périmony (born March 2, 1931 – died April 9, 2017) was a talented French artist. He was a comedian, actor, and even designed costumes for plays. He also directed plays and taught acting to many students. He was born in a town called Dole, in Jura, France.

Jean Périmony was a very creative person who loved the theater. He worked with other famous theater people like Robert Manuel and Henri Rollan. He helped create a theater group called the Cie du Villiers in 1969. Later, in 1977, he started the Festival Molière at the Théâtre Trévise in Paris. This festival celebrated the famous French playwright Molière.

Périmony was passionate about teaching young actors. In September 1960, he opened his own drama school. He also taught at the Conservatory of Orléans from 1983 to 1986. He helped many students learn how to act and perform on stage.

Later Life and Family

Jean Périmony was married to Marie-Cécile Renauld, who was a literary agent. They had three children together. He passed away on April 9, 2017, in Paris, France, at the age of 86. He left behind a great legacy in the world of French theater and education.
